When you practice Creative Reaction you get present (Present Moment) with the animal and bring their mind down. When however their mind comes up, meaning that their thinking levels rise, you come out of the present moment and look at the animal, you think about them, ask yourself “what level between 0 and ten are you on” and then you just regard their every movement, body tension, breathing, eyes, ears, mouth…. with no judging, no analyzing…. just regarding – that is Mindful Regard. you patiently regard till they have expressed what they needed to express and have come back to the thinking levels they were before the mind came up. then you get present again. so you let the animal indicate the pacing – when mind goes up: Mindful regard, when it goes down (or stays down) Present Moment.
