Need pen & paper. Goal = quiet your mind (so that you don't produce your own feelings, stronger than the animal's).
Possible to communicate also with the essence of an animal that has moved on (communication a bit different, more serene, and usually there's a strength of wisdom). Sunday told James to get people to focus on their senses = the senses that are around us, what we can see, hear, touch, smell and taste; these are right here, right now, they are present. If we concentrate on them, we become present as well. => gets you calm, serene, relaxed, focused; present state. If we're worried, it produces a feeling of stress which prevents us from sensing our natural state, which is a sense of calm.
Exercise: you're only going to focus on three senses. To find which three work best for you, we're going to go through all five & you're going to do a scoring of them. = focus on one sense at a time and see how effective it is into bringing you into a state of thinking less. Effective = when you concentrate on that sense and you find you're not thinking of much & you're staying focus on it = it scores high, 4 or 5. Scoring low = you're trying to focus on that sense but your mind is wandering and you're thinking of other things, maybe a 1 or 2. Scoring between 1 and 5.
List (focus on one at a time):
See : 3 or 4.
Hear : 3 or 4.
Touch : between 3 and 5.
Smell : 2-3.
Taste : 1-2.
=> SIGHT, HEARING AND TOUCH.
When you concentrate on the three (one at a time), it should give you the same feeling than with the five – or stronger. Try to bring in the three feelings at once. You use them to get present while staying present with the animal. If you start thinking, you refocus on your senses, keeping your attention on the animal and ask the question again.
Need pen & paper. Similar to 'Real Now' but instead of using the senses around us, we use the senses in our imagination. You're going to choose a location in nature. This could be somewhere you're already familiar with, that you really enjoy going to, or somewhere you have never been before. Think about it and write that location. Anywhere you feel you'd really enjoy to visit.
A quiet beach.
Ask: what can I see in that location? Go in the location, explore what you can see with your imagination and write it down. Then what can I hear in that location? Write it down after exploring that location. Same with touch, smell and taste. Find 3 things that you can see, 3 things you can hear, touch, smell and taste.
Vision : I can see the yellow, not too pale, sand all around me; I can see the clear skies and the horizon it forms with the water; I can see a boat in the distance, I see its sail far on the horizon. I can even see rocks on my left, the form is not very defined, but it's there, a rocky shore.
Hearing: I can hear a bird, probably a sea gull, above in the sky; I can hear the waves lapping on the shore regularly; I can hear the wind, because it's so calm that the wind takes all the place.
Touch: I can feel hot sand under my hands or feet; I can feel the wind on my skin; if I walk around as advised, I can feel the touch of the waves on my feet (and then the gritty feeling of sand on your wet feet).
Smell: I can smell the sea, salty, iodine; I can smell moss on the rocks if I walk until them, it smells more green, a mix between sea and forest; and I can smell the hot air, the hot sand.
Taste: I can taste a grain of sand in my mouth; I can taste the cold water I've just drunk; I can taste the salt of the sea in the air.
Don't worry if you don't get three of everything, as long as you got one of every sense, that's great. You don't need to be in a deep state to do this, jump in and out of your imagination. It's the same with animal communication: you visit your imagination, explore it, and bring the information back.
Finding your special place
An area of your imagination where you can invite animals. It can be anything that's gonna feel comfortable and special for you.
Start point : location chosen from Imagination Now. Ask it to get more comfortable.
To get back there quickly, you remember what are its details on the inside, and once you're there you just use your senses to find your sense of presence.
To communicate, ask it "Please can you make it very welcoming for X (name of the animal)?", it allows you to be very flexible and open to accommodate that animal; part of you opens to welcome their into your space. It might change completely. Then it's time to invite the animal in at this point. However the animal comes in, give them a little space and let them settle down; then you're ready to introduce yourself, explain your purposes and ask questions. You have to be open and accept the things that are coming along (for ex. the change of your special place) and you have to be aware hen you are asking questions, the information can come back in many different ways. So be aware of all your senses when you're asking questions.
Connection to the all knowing
Using your special place, you are gonna connect with the all knowing part of you that can already easily communicate with animals. It's the 'heart mind'. You'll ask your SP to make it comfortable for this all knowing part of you. It may come in as an animal, a person, energy, a source of light, or just a feeling. Once that being has come in and settled down, ask him advice to help you to communicate more on a conscious level to the animals that are around you.
Advice: "Be me". "Be present, be full of light, stop thinking." I got tears in my eyes with a sad feeling too. A being full of light, like a person made of fire, in a dark cloak. I didn't see them talk.
Remember the moment you asked for advice; absorb yourself in the feeling of what was expressed to you. How can I describe that feeling in more detail? Simplicity and sadness. Familiarity.
You have to keep focused on that feeling so that you can describe it in more detail – that matters more than the information you received.
Before any communication, remember that feeling and advice you got from the all knowing part of yourself. => I don't really get that, because I mainly had sadness as a feeling, and I'm not sure feeling sad before every communication is gonna be a good thing.
