The Broader Context
Â
Anything over the level of a '7' is a difficult level to get through.  This means that you may have to remove the animal to a quieter more suitable environment so he can hear you.
But then you also have to utilize 'risk assessment' as a high thinking mind (the animal's) can be a very dangerous mind. So that brings us right back to the 'health & safety'.
Remember the confidentiality of clients and story telling...and you can't just share 'confidential' information about what 'happened' during your sessions. So if you want to use the experience to describe the TT and the experience, you MUST ask the permission of the person first.Â
Think critically in the bigger picture when working in the TT. The larger scope of animal and human relationship.Â
We are looking for you to do self reflection. Be able to give reasoned judgements on your own sessions. So through your own wisdom, you mark your own work.Â
So it's not just about them telling us how we are doing. WE must know how we are doing and judge ourselves and see where you need to up your game.
It's important to have a good understanding of the animal welfare act and how you can deliver it to a client (if needed) in a way that doesn't sound like you are judging.
Â
There is a required and recommended reading list.
When you gain the knowledge of these books it will enhance your understanding of the TT.
