Messages of Trust 1:Â Â
The first level of learning is the foundation course contains 50 hours. For your personal use for you and your animals. The second level of learning is the level 3, trust technique practitioner professionally. Â
We operate with purpose, peace, patience and persistence (trust technique logo). Â
What is the trust technique? Â
A method of reducing thinking levels to promote trust, connection, confidence and communication. Â
3 main principles with practical techniques. Â
Creative Reaction is the building of trust and connection with the use of presence. We create the feeling in ourselves that the animal reacts to. We work to achieve peace of mind. We lower our thinking. By holding the space of non-thinking, the animal's mind activity starts to be reduced.  We are saying to the animal right now you can be peaceful. Recognize your own thinking levels, the nature of thought and the value of the present moment. Meditating on your own can be boring, but when you're sharing this with your animal, as you're not just helping you but also your animal as well. Mindfulness can help us with connecting with others, improve physical problems and overcome anxiety.Â
We deliver this peaceful feeling /share this peace of mind with others. They feel regarded and understood. We communicate at the feeling level that right now, you can be peaceful. I am and you can be too. We are working with a focused presence. reducing level of thinking levels while holding the state of observation/listening. We are looking to understand them on a deeper level, emotional level. This technique is called mindful regard. They feel regarded and understood. Animals and people share feelings. 3 ways that animals and humans react to fear. 1. The animal is overthinking and reacting to its environment due to a conditioned fear response from its past. The fear is expressed as barking, lunging, growling. The human feels anxious, embarrassed and out of control, the person shouts/reacts poorly/escalatory. The dog now is afraid of the man approaching them, but also that the person they are with is escalated--both spiral out of control reacting to each other. 2. The dog is not escalated but the person has a lot going on and is in a state of overthinking. The animal is aware of this and they can spiral out of control by reacting to each other. 3. Life Attraction: the animals life experience and the person's life experience have a very similar experience. They gravitate towards each other. Both the animal and the person are sharing the feeling of abandonment. Â
What to do?  Reduce your thinking levels, it only takes one person to change the relationship dynamics. This breaks the negative reactive patterns. Take responsibility for creating the lower levels of feeling. Creative reaction. These exercises stimulate physiological response in both of you. The animal experiences mindful regard from your focused presence in a deep. With practice you become aware of the micro feelings that your animal has. The feelings your animal expresses can be read. It is a stunning dance that leads to a more peaceful way of being. they feel accepted, listened to, understood and connected. It is a process of create a feeling of trust in ourselves, then share it with others. This is not expecting trust from the lives of others, it is building trust in our lives and we accept others/situations/challenges.  Creative reaction is the ability to reduce your own thinking levels and share that with your animals using focused presence, the benefit is that both of you deepen your trust and confidence. Creative reaction is a mindful practice that you are sharing iwth your animals regularly at more relaxed times, the reduction of axienty it deepend your connection and serves as a rehabilitation tool. by reducing your animals thinking levels to a zero state/level, the dreamlike state occurs benefiting the individual emotionally/physically, being more relaxed in their lives, better able to cope with challenges. If your dog has stranger anxiety, at the time of reaction it is hard to get your animal's attention. At the time of reaction their attention is high, fight/flight/freeze, little ability to listen. People are the same. Creates the negative repetition of behavior. If the person does get their attention by raising their voice, and physically correcting their behavior, the person has raised their thinking levels to the level of the animal. Both learn to be more reactive at this time, this is not an effective way to make changes, it is an effective way to be more anxious. Â
Â
Thinking Levels.
The more we think the more disconnected we become,
Scale of thinking activity / stress or arousal level / emotional escalation 0-10 peaceful to panicked. The higher up the scale of thinking/emotions over thinking full of anxiety, fear... in our own head, focused on our own experience. Anger, worry, over excitement. Â
7+: When you're escalated, it is hard to connect, perceive, process and retain information. You're engulfed in your thinking to the point where you are not aware of your surroundings. Easy to get caught in drama and build problems with a reduced ability to solve them. Â
4-5: The mind is more aware, has the ability to listen and learn when you're about a 5. The mind is quieter. You're not overthinking the task.  It is a relief to operate in 4-5 level. Learning is fun/rewarding. Â
2-3: The individual becomes much more aware of their surroundings. It is emotionally and physically healing, for others and ourselves. At zero state, they experiene relief, Zero State. REM sleep.  when they wake up and see you're still there supporting them, they relate this healing experience with them. You become an individually with huge value to them. Deep sense of connection with you and others. You are showing them that you can be trusted. They will seek you out. They gain confidence in you. Â
We lower the animals thinking levels from over thinking to a 4-5, this is very healing. Â
Â
Realization Learning: Overcoming Problems. Resolving behavioral issues. I need to be aware of my own reactions to challenging situations so that I make it a less stressful situation. Slowing down. People realize their own learning.  What is the nature of problems? Perception is based on how we feel.  Fear of the known and unknown create higher levels of thinking. 7 and above represent overthinking, it manifests as a perceived problem. Example: A dog has a fear of men, something bad happened with a man, there is a high emotional charge, ;in a similar environment, he is triggered, flooded by emotion. He is fearful fo the known, that men can hurt you. His expression was barking at the man. The man reacted with fear and approached him nervously, the dog thinks that he was right to fear the man, the man said he would have kicked him, he said he loved dogs, it was the dogs fear of the past that created the tense situation. If the dog hadn't reacted in fear from his past, the man wouldn't have reacted in fear. Reacting fear creates more fear/aggression in your life.  A tool that reduces thinking levels, reduces emotional reactivity, the individual perceives/sees things calmer, results in a more moderate reaction. From this different perspective they can self learn new beliefs, the fast way to learn new behaviors. Teh focus is on reducing thinking levels to stimulate self learning. Rather than having different tools for different types of challenges. Fear aggression, over excitement, over eating, chewing, weaving/pacing, pulling, fear of leads, pulling, separation anxiety. are all on the scale of over thinking. The shared interpretation of fear... if the animal reacts to your escalated thinking. Symmpathy is feeling bad for, send that back to them. When we related to them, it could trigger our trauma history. Empathy is feeling the other without judgement, then supporting them by reducing their feelings. Fear of loss/guilt, etc. Sharing focused presence you don't ad to the issue, you're helping the animal become more comfortable and peaceful. The animal learns how to deal with what is happening, the person learns how to best support their animal with challenges. How to reduce thinking levels during the higher reaction time... challenging situations. through mindful regard and distance/timing. How eto be in a non reactive state, reduce their thinking levels. at their pace relative to the situation, how to support their continued learning. The first step is to reduce their thinking levels to get them to a zero state several times, then introduce touch, then introduce the halter. This improves quality of life. she realized touch was good. For 2 horses, they separately experienced zero state, then was able to do that in each other's presence. Their perception changed, from fear to connection. Perception is based on how we feel change the feeling and it was change the perception to a more effective/helpful/useful outcome. It doesn't matter who the animal is or the problem/situation, if we understand how to deliver focused presence at the right time, any situation can be made less reactive. The essence of realization learning. She let go of a huge amount of tension, which over time helped her emotionally and physically, we built a deep trusting relationship.  She is sensitive and responsive. When the microphone came out she paced and expressed fear and anxiety, this is fear of the unknown. She hadn't seen anything like this before, she is predicting that something bad is going to happen. Her thinking is way too high. We need to have a shift in perception, so we can help them calm. Put the animal's opinion before our own agenda. When we see their upset it is a signal to go ahnd help them. Jodi: I'd rather be helpful not hurtful. Help them regulate. Their upset is a trigger to become more reactive, frustrted, and dominant, which creates resistance. If we see their fear as high thinking levels, we're in a position to help them... it only takes one to change the relationship, a responsible one. taking responsibility is key to making any type of change. When an animal is overreacting to a situation their thinking is too high to listen. They are also confirming their fears with the repetition of anxious feelings and reacting in the situation. The first responsible response that we can do is change the environment. Env influences behavior. Non-reaction is a state of acceptance. We're OK with the behavior that the animal is expressing. We're not judging the behaivor as good/bad which results in blame, frustration and attempts to dominate. When they feel your acceptance they'll feel more understood and connected. A STILL MIND NURTURES TRUST. by understanding details of working with focused presence we can now bring our own minds and the animals into that lower thinking levels. the thinking levels are now revealed physically by bodies showing release and less mvmt/stillness. yawning and softening eyes. As her mind starts to lower, she begins to see the situation differently. she is becomes curious. My job is to support her by being peaceful. it creates actions that don't contain any fear. this makes a much better learning environment. I need to keep the experience peacefully. She has more confidence in the situation and our relationship. People with lower level thinking, doesn't share your over thinking, they aren't experiencing your pain, perception is based on how they feel. ACKNOWLEDGMENT PLUS ACCEPTANCE MINUS THINKING EQUALS LET GO. we acknowledge there is a problem. We accepted her by changing the env. Her opinion was more important than our agends. we could reduce her thinking levels and this helped her to let go of the fear and see the situation differently which created a new action, a new behavior, new beliefs. We go through the process of let go and create peaceful outcomes. CONNECTION IS STRONGER THAN CONTROL. Teh boss therory and pressure methods do not support sensitive others. This is controlling with fear under the guise of assertiveness, this increases the thinking levels and the pressure applied on them. They are not acknowledged and accepted, the are judged for wrong behaivor which is then corrected, they become more fearful of situation and people. You cna bully animals but compliance through fear/control. These actions distroy trust and connections. Problems aren't all bad, when faced with lower thinking levels they become opportunities for growth, exciting, bonding. learning, community, shared humanity, forgiveness. We can even feel grateful. This could completely tranform our systems, this would stop a lot of hidden suffering. Man's needs and agendas come way before the animals opinions and wellbeing.  When we see the animals overthinking this is a motivation to make positive changes.  Making decisions in when in high thinking creates more high thinking. if you react angrily. it creates more anger/defensiveness. Jodi: Do your own work first.  reduce your thinking levels then replay from a more peaceful and meansured state. HOW YOU ARE FEELING WHEN YOU MAKE A DECISION MEANS THAT THE ACTIONS WILL BRING MORE OF THE SAME FEELING TO YOU. if you are peaceful, it will bring more peace in your life and into your family system. This is a clear and rewarding way forward. Help release conditioned fears. Â
Trusted Cooperation: We'll be exploring the connection byond the problems in the realm of inspired possibilites.  the next level of intuitive communication and how this can be stimulated in A SIMple way. We create a cooperative spirit.  developing communication with mutual benefit. The animal learns with repetition that it's you that makes them feel relaxed, peaceful and good. Â

Realization learning--the changing of perception by reducing thinking levels to overcoming behavioral problems. Learning new ways to respond to challenges. They find trust and confidence in you and its surroundings. Â
Trusted Cooperation: Establishing a cooperative spirit. The spirit of cooperation--the voluntary arrangement where two or more entities engage in mutually beneficial exchange instead of competing. Voluntary, there is an asking and inviting rather than a telling/making. Mutually beneficial implies there is a shared value/benefit in working together. The boss theory is that only my agenda is important, I'm more important than you, I'm better than, smarter than, you and get to tell you what to do. My way, for my benefit. Jodi: Slavery. Power over. Doing to not doing with. Sending solutions. Micromanaging. Doing things for people that they can/should be doing for themselves. Taking over. Squashing. Parasitic/predatory. Exploitative. Meeting needs at the expense of others. Competition with a selfish benefit. When we try to force a sensitive animal to do things, it destroys trust, creates defensiveness, resistance. Deserve mentality. I deserve to win/resources, You deserve to be punished/grateful for the little you get. Hierarchy. Dominance. Privilege. Fear motivation. Involve them in decisions that impact them. Don't give unsolicited advice. XXXXX We'll be exploring the connection beyond the problems in the realm of inspired possibilities.  the next level of intuitive communication and how this can be stimulated in a simple way. We create a cooperative spirit.  developing communication with mutual benefit. Secure attachment... she checks in with me, actively seeking support, to see how I'm reacting. An animal who is not overly stimulated, has more trust confidence, is more likely to be open to influence, cooperative. 2 main techniques... working with gratitude and the intuitive connection. Working with gratitude builds cooperative spirit by engaging the animals intelligence by using invitation and appreciation. We need to be fully responsive to the needs and responses of the animal, the animals opinion is more important than our agenda. Cooperative spirit--the voluntary arrangement which two or more entities engage in mutual beneficial exchange instead of competing.  Achieved through clear communication, that is asking for them to engage/participate/perform an action, an acknowledgement when the animal achieves the action followed by gratitude/reward (treats, comfort, play, connection, etc.  Horses have been treated poorly with fear morivational tools.--whips, spurs, bit,  and round pen (they are flight animals who want to run away but cant). When we whip someone who is afraid we're saying be more afraid of me than the thing that you are afraid of. We add to the fear of the situation and ourselves. We fuel the fight/flight/freeze--flip their lids, they cognitively/physiologically are not able to learn/cooperate. You don't want to be bossed round, told what to do, used... others benfit at your expnense to stand on your back. Â
Video called I have a dream to show how people and animals can share trust. Freedom from slavery. Slaves are sheltered, fed and fear motivated. Ingrained acts of cruelty which seem to be acceptable until more closely examine them. Goal is to force the other to give up... compliance... yield/submit. If someone treated you like this... how would you feel, the hidden pain is exposed when you put yourself in the position of the animal. They are thinking feeling animals who are very sensitive to connections and how they are treated in systems. Â
If we are using motivational tools of fear we are not regarding their inherent. integriety. Â
Those who claim that animals are not sentient beings are usually the ones that need excuses to treat them badly. Â
