Physically: body is always in present moment.
Emotional: a part of thinking.Â
Spiritual: peace of mind, extended conscious gaps between thinking. A healing quality that brings peace into your life.
Exercise: Put your full attention on your body. Keep your body completely still like a statue. Still body, still mind. Even eye focus.
Exercise: Making your present moment stronger
This exercise has 2 purposes
1 To develop your present moment
2 To use this focus to reduce thinking levels in your own life.
This is an essential step for helping your animals
Find a focal point with eyes. Focus on sound and touch while not moving body. Thinking produces feelings. Acknowledge thoughts then ref0cus.
Homework: get present for 5 min + /day
Step 2 Exercise
Thinking is hard work. Thinking will be the resistance and peace is the muscle. Overcome heavy thinking with the power of peace of mind.
Make a list of non-helpful thoughts. Rate 1-10. Where do you feel each thought on your body? Choose a topic with a lower number. Think about it until you can just feel it. Then get present for 30 seconds - with body stillness & focus on a sense. Do 5 times. Then re rate 1-10 that you worked on.Â
