Trust - Whispering - Conventional
Right now be peaceful - a ticket to help
e.g. if you have a financial problem and come to 'right now be peaceful' - you will come up with your own solution.
Conventional would 'force' the horse past the problem. I'm afraid of that, but I'm afraid of you more - so the horse moves on past that is a scary and dangerous way....a lack of understanding.
Trust Technique - right now you can be peaceful - that person could stay on the horse but would probably come off the horse - stand next to it - and reduce the horses mind while it is not too high.
ie the closer to the problem you get the higher the mind - so we are back from that - there's lots of space - to work at the animal's pace - 'regard'.
bring the mind down - then horse will natually get a bit curious becasue nwo there is no pressure - we have doen right now be peacful - the mind comes down and self realisaion happens.Â
We have created the environment where the animal learns itself.
gradually animal may start to go up to it - slow back - cautious, looking for support from you - right now be peaceful - horse goes forward again - and 5-10 mintues aniaml OK with what the issue was.
Eventually animal looks to you for support - you're fine, so I'll be fine and trust in each other.
Conventional world puts animal into human world and says you have to do what I want you to.
The whispering world - puts animal into a round pen and intimidates them, until they follow the person - it is very cruel because you can't get away. Whispering is also based on pressure release - ie I will pressure you and pressure you until you do as I say - then take the pressure off as your reward...
Then a different aspect of whispering world with a person studying the horses - thinking that they've realised who the leader is - which is a misconception because...
The true leader is the most peaceful one not the most dominant (the most dominant is usually the most afraid).
then they are trying to be the leader - then enter the animal's world and manipulate (Big generalisation - but can lead to cruelty).Â
Trust Technique
Recognises we are people that animals are animals - and create a world we both join in.
Make this a peaceful world through the use of the present moment - the human invites the animal into this space - we both find peace with each other - the lower our thinking levels the more connceted we are.
You can only put your attention to another when your feelings are really low. ie your thnking needs to be low.
Then you can move outside yourself and put attention on them.
When you are both peaceful a two-way commincation can happen and its stunning - share each others feelings in real time.
and have a tool to create that - right now be peaceful...
NOW...
what is the purpose of what we are doing (Ie James and Shelly)
To share, to educate, to teach people to be practitioners ...
To make a difference.
We do not control animals - trust is better and far better for the animal and more rewarding for us.
