I am very impressed with the alterations to instructions 1 and 2, for becoming present. I found it an easy method with great results. Trust Technique is a brilliant system. Thank you James and Shelley, this System will go from strength to strength. Love and blessings, Marion Davies

Dear James, I want to share a wonderful experience with the Trust Technique. Two Weeks ago, I gave a Tellington TTouch clinic for dogs and their people. One of the participating dogs was very nervous and could keep still. he was whining most of the time and his person had trouble keeping him calm and quiet. In the afternoon of the first day, I wanted to share the TT with the group. I led them into the present State in that I had them focus on the tactile sense, on the visual sense and then on the hearing. And as I told them to focus on a noise (the 3rd step) the nervous dogs threw himself on the floor and gave a deep sigh and was quiet. It was amazing! Thanks for that! Katrien

15 months ago I adopted Barney, a labrador from a shelter - hed been handed in as a stray so I dont know his full history. Working with a dog behaviourist helped with some basic stuff (he was my first ever dog) but she had nothing that helped his seperation anxiety. A friend told me about James, Shelley suggested I start with the online lessons while waiting for the consultation with James. These were very helpful even before James came then invaluable in coaching me to keep up the work wed started with his help. I have recommended this course and James to every dog owner I know - it is great teaching!

Ive recently acquired a standard bred gelding named Neiko who was unfortunately neglected and mishandled. He went from a calm trail horse to a horse that spooks at anything, among other things. The woman who rescued him 3 yrs ago did a great job of restoring his physical health, but his mental/emotional health is still all twisted up. I spent my first morning with him using the Trust Technique with fantastic results...his barn mate Pro enjoyed the benefit as well. Neiko did not lay down, but he moved to stand by me, and took a standing nap. Pro was also dozing in his stall next door. Wonderful! Im so delighted to have found this technique!

The Trust Technique really does work! My three dogs all had other homes before living with me and they all had some issues. Love and patience are a good start but the Trust Technique makes SUCH a difference on top of that. Murphy (the most recent addition to the pack) was frightened of everything and even a short walk was a problem. Using the TT he started to yawn and release immediately (which impressed me as I was a total beginner) and within a very short time he was a different chap. Since then I had a phone consultation with James for the health and emotional issues of my oldest girl, Misty. In fact my stuff was causing some of the problems. James helped me with that & Im very grateful

This site is great! The videos are very informative and touching to watch, and the tutorials are easy to understand. This technique can definetely be learned through the site. I am using it on my dog, and it has helped me to understand her better, and to stop being dominant with her. It has also taught me how to meditate, and Im using it on myself as well when my mind gets too busy. It feels really good that my money goes to funding this work:)

Before becoming a Trust Technique member 5 months ago I really believed that the relationship I had with my dog couldn’t be any closer but I was wrong. The technique is easy to learn, very effective and quite humbling. The videos are great - when you watch James working with the animals it’s very touching to see them letting go of their past fears or other negative emotions. Im finding this membership site so rewarding as I can see exactly where and how the money is being used and at the same time Im learning the technique. Thank you James for sharing this knowledge. Helping rescue animals to restore their trust, whilst also teaching others to help even more animals, is a wonderful gift.

Ive been using TT with my 4yo GSD Lexie. Shed competed in Working Trials for 3 months when she was given homeopathic pulsatilla by our vet to increase the time between her seasons. An unexpected side-effect was that she lost her sense of smell & tracking was impossible. I continued entering her for competitions until I realised. She was puzzled and unhappy not to be able to do as I asked her. When her sense of smell returned I restarted her from scratch & she enjoyed it again - except at competitions. I used TT to calm her & give her good thoughts about tracking- its restored her confidence & shes now competing happily. Its also great for calming dogs before a downstay. Thanks James

I started using the Trust Technique about 3 months ago with my 6 year old dog, Milly, who has always had a lot of problems with things that scare her and which makes her behaviour a problem. Nothing we have done so far has made any lasting difference. I have now worked daily with Milly using the TT and we are seeing great changes in her. I am able to calm her in situations that previously freaked her out and she is now learning that scary things are not always so bad. I feel she is able to learn better now. Also her relationship with us has deepened and improved. She now tends to look to me when she is in a situation which makes her anxious, which is a real change. We are on the way...!

Although I have only learnt the first stage of the trust technique I must say it has had the most amazing effect on my horses and our relationship. I cant help feeling slightly ashamed that Ive not listened to or understood my animals completely and that theyve not been able to have complete trust in me although Ive loved them and theyve always been OK. Thanks to the Trust Technique I now feel a bond has been sealed, especially with one horse that was given to me with temperament problems. I understand her better, we share time in the present and she is not defensive anymore. She has let her barriers down, become more affectionate and, in turn, I trust her more too. I am so grateful, Bev.

We have to work with nervous horses every day and we are so happy that we have learnt a way to treat them that involves no fear or force and where the animal is listened to. There is no chance of being kicked or dragged around, no need for halters and ropes and pressue which so often is harsh and punishes the horse. Our horses and ponies are much more relaxed and we can read them better, Rosie is still doing great every day and is almost ready to have a headcollar on happily after 2 years or being so frightened that she would regularly rear up at me and it took me nearly an hour each time. Now i can appoach her in the field and rub her ears 🙂 the best thing i have ever learnt 🙂 sophie

I have been studying different techniques for working with horses for the past 35 years. I have to be honest and say I have used dominant behaviour on horses but with as much kindness as possible. However, I have always know there was a better way. I have never given up the search for this better way which I now know to be called the Trust Technique. It is absolutely right as James says that less is more. I have had to be really patient and fully understand and practice wach part of the process before going onto the next step. Already though I am seeing a far better relationship develing between my dogs, horse and me. Thankyou to James, Shelley and the chap doing the filming.

I had a riding accident 19 Aug 2009. I had 3 lessons with James and my fear has gone! Im happy to ride my new horse in the school or out, on my own. I spent 8mths trying to move forward and 3 2hr lessons with James and Im almost sorted. Now were working on the speed issue ie cantering and galloping which I cant wait to do. It was never about my horse, he wasnt even the one I had the accident on, it was all me and something has changed in me. I feel peaceful, calm and knowing of my horse on a deep intuitive level that my fear had blocked me picking up. James helped me dissolve that block. Happy Days.
