I am very grateful to have found The Trust Technique. I rescued Misha, at about 10 weeks with her mom and sister 16 yrs ago. There were 7 feral felines total. Misha has been affectionate, talkative, began meditating with me and watching webinars. She never sat on my lap. She sat or lay next to me. In the past week. She has has lay down on my legs. Today she sat fully on my lap in the office chair. I did not have my phone to capture her curled up. Callie her mom died 4 weeks ago. MISHA has had 3 other cats, various rat companions whose cage was next to my bed and 2 box turtles. She has been extremely vocal and I know it's hard that it's now just the Turtles and myself. I am confident and noticing that I understand more what she's expressing . I am very hopeful to have clear communication I intend to be present with the turtles Turt and Wendy as they have been with me 40 years. I am in awe of these lessons.
