sit or stand close to them while not looking at them. Instead look at something near them.Â
be patient and persistent. Don't try too hard, because you'll be thinking.
Be present for about 30 seconds, then look at them to see at what level they are and go back to the present, look again and then go to the present state again.Â
If they become needy and come too close, they will start you thinking again. Gently push them away. Try to be non-reactional.Â
When you finish a session, stroke them in a way to make them feel proud and walk away in a present state.
Being persistent means, doing a little bit, then stop and doing a little bit again etc.
