It is Relationship building. Peace of mind builds that relationship.
State of being - not trained. Â
Calm enough with each other.
Present moment - peace of mind.
Human needs to be in present mind - meditative state. MINDFUL REGARD. State of listening. Feeling listening not intellect listening.
When an animal doesn't listen we automatically think they are bad. Animals are misunderstood, pain, or distressed. NOT BAD.
Slow down our Energy levels. Neutral, still, not in feeling - at peace. Then we can listen to the animals. Â
Connection - when the animal's opinion comes before our own agenda.
horses will have deep sleep for about 45 minutes only REM.
- when horse wakes after sleep (dreams of abuse, etc) and sees you, still sitting there, they will see you in a better light
It is an ART that will be taught. Compassion.
We fear motivate! Move forward - spurs, whips, kicking, etc. Shout at our dogs. Conditioned to use fear. Judge animals. Make a horse more afraid to get past an obstacle by whipping it. The horse is afraid - no competition in it's mind. Â
Now a new vision - animals are intelligent. They feel us. WE had no words in prehistoric time - would have used feelings. Words slowed us down. We can feel one thing and say another.
Calm your mind down and pay attention to another, you become selfless. When a busy mind you are thinking inside yourself - selfish.Â
Animal mind really busy, you cannot get their attention. Must get their mind down too - get yours down first.
Get to a place where you can feel each other. Â
When at peaceful state, you can discuss what you want to do with your animal. Through feelings, they will figure it out. Suggest until there is no reaction. Then you can go and do it. Â
Real pain, they will not get peaceful as easily. They will express then why they cannot get peaceful. There head will go back up. Ask where it hurts - will show you when communicating properly. Â
