The more we think the less connected we become, the less we think the more connected we become...so like, should I "think"about that or not!
On a scale from 1-10 the higher thinking up the scale the more fearful we become and the lower down the scale the more peaceful. So this goes from blind panic all the down to a deep meditative state. 7 upwards is where we see the anxiety and pain, it is overthinking where where we find anxiety and pain, this is where we find the behavioral problems and the disconnection. There is whole range of behaviors that fall here such as anger and worry to the less obvious over excitement.

10 = fearful 5=measured  0/1=meditation
what er are actually doing is - we're not thoughtless...thoughts will always come in, but we are not engaged in thoughts and we're not generating thinking, which then produces feelings.
SO when we are mindful we are peaceful and we are sharing that feeling with the animal. AND when we are in regard we are listening to them. The combination of those two is magical.
Connection: When the animals opinion comes before our own agenda.

Get out of that box! we are conditioned to use fear! how many times have you heard someone shout at their dog...that box ix a seat of judgement and we try to make them do something out of fear...that has nooooo meaning for them.
When you can actually see the difference between fear motivation and trust motivation then you have broken out of the box. You realize oh my gosh! Animals are intelligent. trusted cooperation-they "feel" you. We speak in a language predominately or really partly...we have all the feelings too. Think of cavemen, we had no language but we had all the same feelings! Had to make a living, a partner and family, things to be afraid of and things to enjoy but no words to describe it. Animals have the same feelings as we do...ex: a guilty dog...pretty obvious.
Consider...if we hadn't developed language, this workshop could be done in about 3 seconds! You could just feel it. we wouldn't need phones...words slowed us down ...we can think something and say something else and that's not authentic. So we explore animal intelligence with trusted cooperation.
A listening state n needs to be achieved, it is when you calm your mind down. When you calm your mind down you can actually put your attention to another being. If you mind is too busy you are you are selfish...You are "in yourself". when you can calm yourself down and reduce your thinking level you become "self less"
You lead an animal down by bringing yourself into a peaceful state and they follow...you are able to attend to them and they feel you. When you are both peaceful then your intuition is in alignment.To tap into animal intelligence mean you are bringing both minds down into a place of intelligence where you can feel each other.
Sensitivity can not be changes but it can be transformed. Sensitive animals are highly intelligent!
Mindful regard is building a relationship of peace rather than fear which is getting outside of that box and when we've done these things we are in a position to really experience animal intelligence.
