You do not have access to this note.
reducing thinking levels to promote trust, connection, confidence and communication.
three main principles:
1. creative reaction
mindful practice you are sharing with your animal
2. realisation learning
reacting to fear creates more fear
getting a different perspective to reduce fear
focus on reducing thinking levels
sympathy bounces back feelings to animal
essence: taking responsibility for animal's fear
non reaction is a state of acceptance
how to let go: acknowledgement + acceptance - thinking = let go
connection is stronger than control
Â
3. trusted co-operation
The more we think the more disconnected we become
1-10: 0 = deep meditative state, anything from 7 = fear/anxiety
4 and 5 - no high anxiety/ability to listen and learn, mind is quieter, no overthinking, learning is accelerated
Overthinking = slow and disconnected
3 and 2 - individual more aware of surroundings
0 and 1 - deep connection with animals and yourself - very healing
lower thinking levels to peaceful state
animals associate good things with you - trust
1. creative reaction - building trust and connection with the use of presence. Create feeling the animal reacts to. You need to reduce your own thinking levels.
Working with focused presence - mindful regard. Listening state creates trust and peace in animal.
Animals + ppl share feelings
Reactions to fear
1. animal is overthinking and reacting: could be caused by an experience in the past - easy for person to react to animal's behaviour and increase fear in animal
2. person in a state of overthinking - stress? Animal picks up on it and reacts to it - both spiral
3. Life experience of both person and animal are similar
Reduce thinking levels and share peaceful state with your animal (whichever way overthinking is going) - breaks negative cycles of thinking.
Mindful regard: supporting animal with focused presence. Deep listening state - essential to let go of unpeace
Creating the feeling of trust in ourselves and then share with animals - it's not expecting trust from others, it's developing it in yourself.
Trusted co-operation
mutual benefit/co-operation
humans always in control, trying to make animals do something of no benefit to them
Begins by working with two other main principles - creative reaction ( building peaceful relationship) and Realisation Learning (changing of perception by reducing thinking levels).
Two techniques: working with gratitude - engages with animal's intelligence using reward.
Created by understanding that coop spirit represents voluntary arrangement between two beings.
Clear asking for an action, acknowledgement and reward.
Ask:
What are the thinking levels?
Is animal's engagement voluntary? What's the benefit to the animal?
1. Create lower thinking environment - focus presence using mindful regard
2. Communicate what's required - break down the task
3. Acknowledge they've got it right
4. RewardÂ
Then reduce thinking levels again so that animal realises the reward is for what its just done. This builds confidence.
Feelings create tone of voice and body language.
Starts with regarding animal's movements, develops into detailed animal communication. Two-way communication.
Sensitivity does not go away, it gets transformed.
Teaching not training.
Ask - any areas you need to override your animal's perception?
Perception is subjective and based on how you feel.
Trusted co-operation:
1. working with gratitude - engages with animal's intelligence
The ask is to invite the animal to co-operate
Both are learning
2 the intuitive connection
Â
1. create lower thinking levels
2. communicate what's required in easy steps
3. reward/well done
