Message 1
Notes:
1. Creative Reaction
2. Realization learning
3. Trusted Co-operation
“the more we think, the more disconnected we become.”
Thinking Levels (similar to arousal levels? Do more research).
Creative reaction is a mindful space that you share with your animals regularly, usually at quieter times.
Meditative state (Level 0) REM sleep, healing. Deep connection points within themselves and works out trauma.
Awaken, you’re there supporting classical conditioning pairing that you’re a part of their healing process.
Increase your value with an animal because they can trust you.
Lower the animals thinking levels to the point of feeling peaceful. Trust and confidence.
Creative reaction: the building of trust and connection with the use of presence. We create the feeling the animal reacts to: peace of mind. Holding space of non-thinking that the animal reacts to. Animal thinking reduces.
Symbiosis:
Focused presence reduces thinking levels while holding a state of listening. “Mindful Regard.” Understand animals at an emotional and physical level.
Half of building trust is the individual feels regarded and understood. (Witnessed/Validated?)
Animals & People share feelings (we’re all animals)
How we all react to fear:
1. Animal overthinks and reacts to their environment (past conditioned fear response); humans mirror the reactions, which increases fear. The human feels embarrassed, out of control, etc.– a dog and human enter a cycle of reacting to each other’s states. Human in a higher fear state could easily shout or reprimand– creating conflict in relational attachment between animals and humans.
2. The human is overthinking. The animal is aware of them. Like above, they can spiral out of control by reacting to one another.
3. Life Attraction: animals’ life experiences and humans’ life experiences have similar feelings. e.g., human experiences abandonment and animal experiences abandonment; even though their lived experience nuances/details are different, they share the same feelings.
No judgments or shame. It’s all thinking levels with a simple resolve:
Reduce your thinking levels and share a peaceful state with your animal. It breaks the negative cycle of sharing and benefits both parties. “It only takes one individual to change the relationship.”
Take responsibility for creating a lower level of thinking and feeling.
Peace & Unpeace do not inhabit the same space.
“Build trust in our lives where we accept others.”
Message 2. Realisation Learning
In a reactive state, overthinking is very high and their attention is engulfed in the problem. No ability to learn/listen. Negative repetition of behavior.
Do not match the dog’s energy. Increasing thinking levels to match the animals won’t benefit the Learner.
Both learn to be more reactive at this time.
Anxiety dictates and controls behavior.
Human/dog experience the same situation with relaxed outlooks.
You cannot make or force an animal or person to be confident, but you can create an environment where they learn confidence themselves.
-Perception: based on how we feel. Reacting to fear creates more fear in life.
Change the feelings to change the perception. See the same situation from a calmer, more measured perspective. When this process happens, they are engaged in realization learning; from this different perspective, they can create new beliefs. Self-learning takes place in a fast way to learn new behaviors. The focus is on reducing thinking levels to stimulate self-learning rather than having to have all these different tools for different types of behavior.
Sympathy compounds feelings. Empathy does not. Sharing focused presence you’re no longer adding to the issue. You’re instead helping the animal become more peaceful and comfortable. Enter a self-learning state.
Human learns to support their animal emotionally and physically.
“The animal’s opinion comes before our own agenda.”
Putting their opinion before our own agenda, we see their upset. It’s a trigger to go and help them.
If our own agenda is stronger than the animal’s opinion, their upset is a trigger to become more reactive and frustrated (potentially dominant) as we only see resistance from the animal. Putting them first, we move past judgment and see the animal’s reaction only as high thinking levels.
Change the environment. Environment influences behavior.
“Non-reaction is a state of acceptance.”
We’re okay with the behavior that the animal is expressing. Easier when the environment is safe.
“A still mind nurtures trust”
Let Go Equation:
acknowledgement + acceptance – thinking = let go
Connection is stronger than control
Controlling with fear under the guise of assertiveness will only increase thinking levels and the pressure applied on them.
Being judged for wrong behavior and then corrections, becoming more fearful of surroundings and the person. Bullying destroys trust.
Decisions made with high thinking create more high thinking. Step back, reduce thinking, and become more peaceful and measured.
3. Trusted Co-operation
Cooperative Spirit
Cooperation is the voluntary arrangement where two or more entities engage in a mutually beneficial exchange instead of competing.
Voluntary: asking an inviting vs telling and making
Mutual benefit – implies shared value in working together
It’s very easy for humans to be in competition. (Capitalism/ The Boss Theory) a selfish benefit, which makes animals do things that have no benefit to the animal, only to humans. Frustration and dominance will cause a sensitive animal to regress quickly and makes a relationship more fearful.
Wiser understanding that values trust over fear motivation followed by wiser actions that promote the trust spirit of cooperation.
Creative reaction (Building of a peaceful relationship) + realization learning (the changing of perception by reducing thinking levels or overcoming behavioral problems) . Helping an animal find tust and confidence in you and their surrounds natural there’s a level of trust and cooperation.
Animal seeks your support.
Two principles:
Working with Gratitude, and, The Intuitive Connection
Animal intelligence using invitation and reward.
Regard the animals sensitivities.
How is the animal being treated in it’s education? Ask,
1. What are the thinking levels? Above 7, the only thing being taught is fear.
2. Is the animal’s engagement voluntary? What is the benefit to the animal?
Every feeling being is seeking connection.
**How to work by invitation is a Mindfulness practice.
Benevolence, awareness, attention, attunement, curiosity, intent, responsibilities,
Focused presence (intent)
Creative Reaction (reduce arousal levels, creating safe space for the learner. Down-regulation to a lower arousal level/state of being.
Realization Learning (Arousal level where safety blooms curiosity.
