Notes: feeling of peace means letting go of un-peace, which just surfaces.
The more we think, the more disconnected we become. This is exactly like the inverse relationship between stress and learning - 10 representing blind panic, and 0 being a deep meditative state.
Animals and humans have feelings.
We need to be present in the high levels many times to establish trust when we are first working with an animal in the low levels, like 7-10. Â
Being at rest at a 0 -4/5(deep meditative state) and then having the animal fall asleep, and then the animal waking up with me being in that same state establishes the trust, ie it's ok and I'm safe to be in this relaxed state with Patti. They are relating their deeper healing experience with me.
"Quantum shift in relationship." and of value to the animal.
Byproducts of peace are trust and confidence.
1st principle of trust technique is Creative Reaction. Â
Trust techinique looks at thinking levels; break the negative cycle by developing communication within a mutual benefit. We are literally saying to the animal (due to our feeling of peace and a space of nonthinking)"right now you can be peaceful" OUR NONTHINKING STATE IS KEY
Understand the nature of thought and the present moment, then how to deliver this peace of mind to share w animal.
Its not about "Getting present" with animals. Highly sensitive animals will probably just move away.
FOCUSED PRESENCE= symbiosis = the reducing of thinking levels whilst holding a state of listening. The technique is called MINDFUL REGARD. It is a listening state that allows us to fully regard the animal and understand them on an emotional and physical level.
Half of building trust is that the animal feels regarded and understood. At the start the animal doesn't really know that it's me who is making them feel all relaxed and peaceful but with REPITITION they soon realize that its me who is making them feel so damn good. The connection starts to deepen the relationship.Â
