There's a very fine line between 'fear' and 'excitement'.
Â
Raisin's like ÉilÃs, very excitable! (ÉilÃs) has the potential to become like Raisin who has started 'attacking'....
So we have to get present and allow the dog to reduce and relax. The 'anticipation' that the dog will do something like bite or attack is raising the tension and the dog picks up that and can feel it.Â
Remember, the dog can't 'hear you' when they are reacting to something. Worrying beforehand, about a potential issue, is setting the scene for disaster.Â
Habits are everything...We must re-condition their old habits, to something more appropriate.
Raisin Video 2.
James explains how when a dog is at '8' excitement, when triggered it can instantly change to '8' aggression! Very interesting...
When a dog is at 8 excitability/or aggression, it simply can't hear you!
