I first heard about the Trust Technique when I did some volunteer work at Hope Pastures some years ago. I had it in mind to find out more about it but only followed up on this recently when I acquired a horse with a very complex character who had anger and fear issues and was very self protective due to previous handling. I took to her and wanted to help her out and form a good relationship with her to restore her trust in humans. The Messages of Trust really helped me to encourage her to find peace and I am moving on to study the video course. Thank you. It is exactly what we needed to move forward.
I have approached the present moment from many avenues during this life without feeling that I’ve ever achieved it. I might have known that love of animals would lead me there in the end. I decided to get a new puppy and have been in a major panic now that the time is near. I am afraid I will do training wrong, even though I have over-studied methods of training. I am afraid of traumatizing my older dog by doing this.
