I am a therapist and have had some experience of equine assisted therapy, being both client and trained facilitator. I also share my life with a variety of wonderful… occasionally unruly animals! This short course has totally inspired me to continue on with James, I have already learned techniques that have aided my human work, and noticed my hitherto “highly” strung mare is calmer, especially when I reduce my thinking……. funny that! Thank you for the Messages of Trust Course. I will go away and do my homework to learn to be present and stop high level thinking. I really do over think everything and if I can change that and help my horse I will have achieved a life goal that has eluded me for years.
The only problem I had while doing the lessons was falling asleep! I did it in the middle of the day so not a time to be snoozing. I had to keep stopping the video and rewinding to listen to it again and follow the instructions. I hope that is a good sign!
