I first became interested in the Trust Technique back in 2014/15…back then it was a series of CDs. Life and financial constraints got in the way and unfortunately I didn’t pursue it further.
Having just rediscovered it, I spent some time going through the introduction material and doing the mindfulness exercises.
I breed Spanish Mustangs and this year I have a couple of high thinking, reactive yearlings, who think the vet wants to kill them, even with sedation. Today I went in there, did the exercise and the yearling filly and I had the most special and productive half hour ever!
Then I went to do the same with the colt, and though more difficult with his nibbling interfering friend there, it was also a big success. So simple, yet so effective!
I’ve always said these horses read you like a book and definitely pick up.on your intention.
I will be signing up for the Foundation course shortly!
