On a side note I'd like to comment on your bonus videos of Ares, the lion of Drakenstein Lion Park in South-Africa. I am South-African living in Germany and I sobbed throughout the videos. It touched my homesick soul to bear witness to the miracle of Ares's transformation and healing -and in such a short space of time.

Very exciting to hear others talk about the spirituality of finding trust between species. In my work with feral cats for 20+ years I've shied away from broaching aspect this when talking about socializing cats for adoption. It's so refreshing to see this aspect addressed frankly, as a given ,and without apology.
