The Trust Technique was developed to help the sensitive animals that the other approaches have not been able to help. Because the animals’ opinion is fully regarded it means that the animal is not placed in a position to be pressured. This then helps them trust and build confidence in you.

Animals have been the focus in my life as long as I can remember. I have always felt a bond with all creatures and now I know why. This explains a lot of encounters both good and bad that I have had in my past with my animal friends. I look forward to learning so much more, and what I find is so amazing is that most of it is about me learning, not the animal as I have always thought!
My sister, a horsewoman in Minnesota, bought me the first three intro videos as a gift. She had been taking the Virtual Series and I could begin to see the difference in her and her animals. I am a dog trainer in Santa Fe and just begun the virtual series but already feel that my relationship with the animals and their humans will take a wonderfully different trajectory now. I’ll keep you posted.

I am half way through the course and have thoroughly enjoyed every stage. It’s taken me a while to be at peace with myself using the technique and now am now able to connect with my lovely mare Twiggy. I still haven’t managed to get an understanding of what her, or my, problem is with coming to me on her own, but I did feel a beginning with the ‘invisible lead’.
So much more to learn and look forward to the quiet time when I sit down and continue learning!
