I have just started using the Trust Technique with my Hanovarian 7 year old gelding in the last two days. He has had some problems with aggression in the past. I can’t believe that change in him and also in me. ( the way I was behaving with him) I am elated, he has become a willing partner:)

It was watching Anna Breytenbach communicating with a black leopard that alerted me to what is possible in this territory. Since small, I have had good relationships with animals and talked to them freely (and sometimes silently), but being able to decipher the specifics of what they communicated back has never been as highly developed in me as I saw it in Anna. The person who recommended Anna to me, also recommended your work, and I’m so grateful to have found this course.
I really appreciate (and am enjoying) the user-friendliness and flexibility of the facilities (such as the notetaking function).
I think this course should be part of the required curriculum in every school in the country!
I love the blend of information, video footage with animals and practical exercises.
I fill with tears, and then I grin, every time I watch one your videos. Feeling the tangible relief in each horse at it flops down beside its quietly loving human listener.
I do not live with an animal at present. If I did, it would be a cat, but ‘pets’ are not allowed where I live. (The attached photo is of a late great feline friend, Rupert).
So learning is for me for now and to share with my next new animal companion in the future.

This video tutorial is fabulous. It explains the trust technique in a manner that is digestible, easy to understand and shows the profoundness of the technique.
There is repetition, though only to teach and it is not too much as to seem redundant. I have anew awareness of worldwide animal welfare situations that I did not have before! I have learned so much that I want to delve deeper and have applied for the Practitioner Program.
I am now peaceful, my dogs are peaceful and our home is a wee sanctuary of it own. I hope to be able to share this feeling and content with folks who long for a better way…..a more understanding more peace filled life.

I am just at the beginnings of this process but am enjoying it thoroughly. Taking the time to get present hasn’t always been easy for me so following the chapters one by one has really helped me slow down and focus. I’m looking forward to making more connections with my animals, and for those in my future. Love all the video tutorials, they really help me understand the process. I learn best by watching.

Great course! I love the way it is broken down into bite sized chunks as it can get a bit overwhelming looking at video after video – makes my brain hurt trying to get around all that is going on! At about halfway through, I am not entirely sure I understand completely all that has been taught so far and feel I would need to go through it all again to get deeper understanding of how the ‘magic’ works. It is amazing to watch James working with the animals and see such huge changes in their behaviour in such a very short time. I suspect some of that is down to the fact that James is a master magician with years of experience although the people he works with seem to achieve good results too!

Very well done online course!

I`ve just watched the final video session on Delorean the wild mustang. If I`d been touched during all the other video sessions with the dogs, cats, bears, lions and other horses, this one really touched me the most.

I was able to experience the Trust Technique myself with the horses I look after in the refuge, and it is amazing how quickly the animal allows real closeness – I mean, it`s not only being physically close, but being connected on a soul level. I felt always very close to animals, especially to cats. The Trust Technique gives me now such a beautiful and gentle “tool” to establish this connection. Many thanks indeed for sharing this with me and the world.
