I have deep appreciation for Shelley and James French; the service they have performed building an organization / a website / a curriculum / a network of practicioner-mentors and not least of all James' very beautiful reduction and simplification of how to do the work. This Trust Technique has to be among the top five most important discoveries I have made in my life, thanks to its unfailing simplicity. Trust Technique is essential.

This course is aligned with everything I need for fulfilling relationships, no matter the species! Using TT's non-coercive, slow, connection-first principles, I was able to raise a young horse whose natural curiosity, confidence and wish to engage positively remains intact . In the past I've relied on massage and intuitive touch to bring a horse's thinking levels down, but as luck/destiny would have it, my horse finds touch quite intense, and I had to learn and trust other (deeper) ways of connecting. I will always be learning, will never master, how to "just be" and "do" later (if it still seems important!) but what a valuable, ever-expanding life path. Grateful.

I've taken a long time to complete this video course - some 2.5 years - but have been impresed with every section of it, and understand that the length of time has possibly helped me to embed my own practice more effectively. I work with some therapy ponies and feel I can connect more deeply with the particular one that I ride. I get a lovely welcoming whinny when I go into her field and it's not anticipation of treats because casual treats are contrary to the centre's policy. She can be a minx when we're hacking out - quite spirited, but also with a tendency to plant. Ive learnt that patience is the way forward from planting: letting her have a good look, then urging her forward gently. We have developed an understanding, I think, which continues to develop.

i love it! i ve done many many courses, but this one is different This one really changed my life.

I was very skeptical at first but now I am blown away.. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger and took this course. I have 3 horses (one who is 25) an old dog (almost 15), 2 cats and have even used this on our 2 mini fainting goats. I've been involved with human health for 35 years (chiropractic, cranial-sacral therapy, nutrition, muscle testing, healing modalities, etc). I've witnessed an abundance of miracles, almost on a daily basis, but this, this should be a staple for all pet owners, anyone in the an industry involving animals. It has helped me connect with my beloved fur babies beyond measure and made all the techniques I use with them work better. It is such a fantastic feeling doing this life changing work with them, getting to witness their release from pain and stress (such a privilege!) and bonding stronger with them because of it. I still have a few questions but I am loving this work and so thankful for the passion and work that went into putting this course together.

I was drawn to The Trust Technique video course by a friend and fellow horse owner and, once enrolled, I have not looked back. At first I was concerned that it was taking me some time to work through all the topics, until I heard James' voice in my mind concerning animals: "We must go at their pace." I realized that this advice applies to us too. We are so conditioned to rush through life today, and with predictable consequences!

The learning in the course is very well organized. The more I got into the details, the more I appreciated the way it is introduced, which is incrementally. This also makes it easy to return to an earlier lesson and go over it again, how ever often it is needed.

By far the most valuable lessons are in the nuances, which James so expertly presents in the videos and which take time to absorb. I quickly realized that his teaching skill is in his ability to go into those nuances, both in terms of the subtle changes we can adopt in the way we think of a lesson to best accommodate the animal's needs and understanding, as well as in the signals we pick up from the animal. These two are closely related, of course, and again, James' advice to go at the animals's pace is key.

I am now having a good rate of success with offering the present moment to my horse and my cat and working with that, and also with wild deer who are my winter visitors here in Canada. I am now having a go with a bonded pair of wild pigeons. We'll see how that goes!

I started with the Messages of Trust and then the Video Course. It has been a truly wonderful experience, so much so that I am now embarking on the Practitioner Course. In the Video Course I started with the dog section as I no longer have horses but the whole course was a deep learning experience, no matter what animal. In fact, the bears and horses I found to be the most enlightening in seeing their progression. What a beautiful world we would live in if all beings were truly understood and listened to. Thank you!

Dear Friends, you have given me a vocabulary for expressing things that I have long intuited. And it has opened my eyes wider to the lives and emotions of our non-human animal friends. fantastic! since i did this course some years ago, i ve been stuying a lot, ( Science of Behaviour, Theory of Learning, R(+), Force Free methods for everything! i loved all, but i must say the trust technic makes the difference. I am amazed by the number of video in this course. As well as the quantity of information around animal behaviours . I also shivered with the deep and fine lecture of all the animals seen.
But as I have started in 2021, I will start again for refresh.
The chapter 3 trusted cooperation has transported me in a world of magic, allowing me to slow down and start trusting.
The way is still long but I am in awe for all the work done by James and Shelley, and the crew and thank you all to share so much with such generosity.

I don't have a lot of time to write a long review that this course deserves but I will say this.
Learning the Trust technique has changed my life in the most companionable manner ever.
I truly wish that children would learn this in school early on, and I cannot imagine not knowing this knowledge. It makes "meditation" very scientific and practical.

This course is incredible ! The way you work with animals at their pace using nothing more than peace, patience and gentle persistence is so heart warming and the results are unbelievable.

The gentle "less is more" approach flies in the face of the way we normally treat animals with no understanding or empathy whatsoever.

This course has completely changed the way I interact with both animals, people and even myself and I cannot thank you enough for the work you do.

I have especially noticed the play energy that peace and trust allow to bubble to the surface with some of the animals I care for which is absolutely enchanting (the videos of the bears and lions playing blew my mind!).

This course is indeed a life changing one. I came to this course to help my rescued greyhound Lucy with her reactivity to other dogs. The Trust Technique is a wonderful way of working with your animals and thanks to the easy to follow instructions and so many beautiful examples of working with all kinds of animals, starting with dogs ending with sun bears in south east Asia, it is quite easy to learn. But the result of doing the Trust Technique might be surprising. As I said I started the Video Course to help my reactive greyhound. During our Journey I realised that I too had some deeply buried issues, which caused problems, too. So, I did the Trust Technique for people, it is kind of a challenging part, cause I had to face which I always had ignored or buried. But in the end I did it. It's like opening old wounds but only after clearing that out, I was able to find peace with myself and in the end get better helping my greyhound find peace too. I finished the video course, but my greyhound and I are by no means at the end of our journey to fully feel peaceful. For me it's a journey, which takes time. But it's actually a wonderful journey were the "path truly is the goal".
Thank you James and Shelley for bringing the Trust Technique in to the world. And thanks to all the people of Trust Technique Community and Administration for spreading the Technique wide and far. As I live in Germany I might never heard of the Trust Technique if you don't advertise for it worldwide. Thanks to everyone involved.
