What a beautiful way of working with animals, at their own pace, and by reducing my own thinking into a listening mind. My spaniel has always had what I call "Itchy brain". I have long had a meditation practice, and I also do yoga, and the two cats and my spaniel like to be there when I'm doing this, and always fall asleep. It never occurred to me to actively direct the meditative mind towards them. I have started working with my spaniel, and I do notice her stretching and itching and yawning, so I'm looking forward to seeing where this takes us.

Truly inspirational and what I have been looking for for many many years. The level of communication between myself and my horses has truly amazed me and transformed my very sensitive horse. I am learning all the time and can’t thank you enough for the amazing work you do and for giving this gift to us all. Thank you James and Shelley.

I started the video course out of curiosity. As I watched the videos I was, and I still am, impressed about the clear structure of the Trust Technique. It helps a lot to know how to help an animal to relax, not just that you know the animal should be relaxed. With the different videos, I could see many ways to apply the Trust Technique. So I think it is very good that there is a lot of videos.
Using the forum was a bit slow but the topics, questions and answers were interesting to read.
I enjoyed the Trust Technique Video Course and I am happy I bought it.

I learned so much and am so grateful. I grew up on a farm so around so many animals, but wish I had known this then. I have a feral cat that is now 7 and was still skittish around me. Although her sister was fine and loved to be petted. After practicing this method she now rubs against my legs. Loves to be patted and even runs up to me to greet me. She is still skittish if I move too quickly around her, such as standing from sitting. But she is getting better each day, I know it is small steps. I am so thankful.
On another note, I very much wanted to take this course due to having a granddaughter with fairly severe autism. I have taught my daughter this method and she has used it several times and technique seems to quiet my granddaughter down. If she does it once she quiets after meltdown, it effects her in that she laid down with her blanket. She is practicing it while she is playing etc. I am hoping that it might be helpful in preventing the complete meltdowns that autistic children have.
I have just signed up for your communications course and I look forward to learning it. I also plan to again go thru the initial videos again, and others.
Thank you so much for reminding me how very much we can help our "best friends".

I am deeply touched by the Trust Technique and impressed by its power. The present moment helps me personally a lot in my work as a body therapist - both with people and animals. In my work on the central nervous system I give the patients a lot of space, with TT this feeling is deepened even more.
Personally, TT has enabled me to find a childhood and playfulness that I was not granted as a child. I think that is why the story of Kay the bear and her friends touched me so deeply, because through TT they found their playfulness again.
I am very lucky to be part of the translation team and edit the German texts. Of course, this work also helps me to deepen my knowledge of TT, as I am once again intensively dealing with the texts and videos. Wonderful.
And I think my journey will continue and I will do the TT Practitioner.
Dear Shelley, dear James, dear TT Team, it's great that you exist! Thank you so much for your work and for sharing your knowledge.
