From my opinion this technique what they found is amazing! This brings so much into the world of connections between souls. Can‘t wait to learn and train more!

I am really excited to continue learning how to be at peace with my furry babies. Two dogs and two cats. Some problems arise with the two who bark, sometimes at nothing at all, and it would be so wonderful to defuse situations without yelling and making them go stand in the corner and the same goes for the cats who sometimes decide to punch each other out for just looking at one another the wrong way. I don’t want to control them or force them to do stupid things for me. Oh to be able to point out danger to them and be able to suggest that this scorpion or that snake should be avoided or it’s not a good idea to try to play with that wasp. I took my oldest dog for obedience training when he was a pup. We went for the first session and I came away a bit baffled and annoyed with the whole process. Have you ever been in a room with a whole pile of people snapping away on those loud clicker things. My boy and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. The next class was worse. My guy was traumatized by the time we left. We never went back. It was not what I was looking for but this is.
To treat them as living, breathing, feeling, sentient beings rather than possessions who need to be dealt harshly with and driven nuts by noisey clicky things.
Thank you for sharing this with us. You are who I’ve been looking for. Thankyou

If I understood it correctly, we have our mental states
Thinking Mind (our busy mind)
Conscious Mind (centered and aware/receptive)
Peaceful Mind (our meditative mind/peaceful feelings)

Then there are learning states (paraphrased)
10-7 ____ Reactivity (too excited to learn; reacting to past trauma -- PTSD state)

6-4 ____ Conscious Learning (most effective)

3-0 ____ Peace Mind

I'm most excited about the technique Mindful Regard (sharing a meditative state/feeling at a measured pace to be received by the animal). I'm most disappointed in the titles of the 3 Parts of this Message of Trust. Part 1 was great to get the concept. Well done! Part 2 and Part 3 are misleading to me, someone over 60 and tired or marketing jargon. I expected some marketing (Part 1 did it for me). However, Part 2 and 3's titles were misleading -- it's not 'Start Learning', it's 'What You Need to Do Next' and 'There Are More Courses to Take'. Maybe even as simple as 'Start Learning the Techniques BY -- taking the training course(s...

So, I love the heart of this Messages of Trust, the direction you're going and taking us with you, and will do more to actually learn the techniques, but the 'marketing language' of Part 2 and 3 was very disappointing and turned me away for over a year. While the titles 'could' be interpreted as correct, innately they are misleading in this context.

Am I interested in learning the techniques? Absolutely. I would just suggest renaming Part 2 and Part 3 to be more clear for others like me.

For the past 5 years, I've been doing socialization work with cats at a shelter here in Italy. Until now, I have never found a training programme that could build on what I am already doing. I'm very excited, therefore, to come across the Trust Technique, which is clearly an opportunity to take the socialization work I'm doing to the next level. The Trust Technique is very inspirational, and through the use of compassion, mindfulness and humility, it offers a refreshing contrast to mainstream approaches to contact with animals which rely on domination and violence (the latter are used, unfortunately, by the majority of humans - consciously or unconsciously - to overpower not only the animal kingdom but also the vegetable and mineral kingdoms). Thankfully, the Trust Technique offers us a meaningful and heartfelt approach to the art of relating to animals in ways that are mutually beneficial.

This course arrived "by chance", at the right time. Unexpected, and so appropriate!
I recognize myself as a person who thinks too much, just a little... too much! And the very beginning of the course explains with simplicity and ease all the difficulties I am currently facing (fears, lack of confidence in life, lack of relationships... which is incredible for a therapist!). And it even brought to light that my overthinking was negatively impacting my dog whom I adore.
From the very first videos, I tried to reduce my overthinking behavior, and something magical happened: my dog looked at me, as if she had noticed a change; and while I remained motionless, she approached her head so that I could pet her (usually, she let me do it; there, I waited for her to come to me). I can't believe it. It's simply GREAT!
Thank you so much for this introduction, with such an effective and directly applicable digest of information - so valuable! I also thank you very much for all these testimonies with animals - it's impressive what can be done, all these positive results obtained; and it's very touching to see the confidence emanating from these animals, their letting go in this mindful relationship.
A thousand thanks!!!

What an absolutely amazing result from using this technique. It makes so much sense to connect on this level and to realize that we are all connected and CAN connect so beautifully - this is very spiritual too. You're doing a wonderful service to these animals and the world. Keep up the great work.
