This video tutorial is fabulous. It explains the trust technique in a manner that is digestible, easy to understand and shows the profoundness of the technique.
There is repetition, though only to teach and it is not too much as to seem redundant. I have anew awareness of worldwide animal welfare situations that I did not have before! I have learned so much that I want to delve deeper and have applied for the Practitioner Program.
I am now peaceful, my dogs are peaceful and our home is a wee sanctuary of it own. I hope to be able to share this feeling and content with folks who long for a better way.....a more understanding more peace filled life.

Well done James, Shelley & Team.

My sister, a horsewoman in Minnesota, bought me the first three intro videos as a gift. She had been taking the Virtual Series and I could begin to see the difference in her and her animals. I am a dog trainer in Santa Fe and just begun the virtual series but already feel that my relationship with the animals and their humans will take a wonderfully different trajectory now. I'll keep you posted.

This course should be taught in schools. Not only would the pupils learn better but their teachers would teach better too. The peace and gentleness delivered by The Trust Technique would benefit the whole world on a Spiritual level, affecting both the human race and the entire animal kingdom, giving us deeper understanding, mindful regard and appreciation for everything that lives. I have done many courses over the years but none can compare in anyway, shape or form to this one. It is unique.... and I am so very grateful to have found it.

I have a Border Collie - 14 yrs old - Still very high energy. So this Trust Technique with Shep was informative and familiar. This lesson gives me inspiration to work with my own Border Collie. I love this Technique. It is so gentle and loving.

My daughter Cathy bought this course for me, so her name is mentioned above.I am extremely happy with the Trust technique videocourse. For me it was like finding "the missing link" in my relationship with animals. (horses, dogs cats). Sometimes the right things happened, but I could not explain it. Neither did I find these answers with the so called whisperers. (Well, now I know thatis too loud either:) .) The course works in a nice way. You can learn and practice step by step. The video.s shows you the Trust Technique with al kind of animals, owners, environments and problems. The only regret I have is: why didnt I find the Trust Technique not years and years ago. Thank you for sharing this technique. It will benefit so many humans and animals. Wil.

I usually wait until I am finished with a learning experience before giving feedback. I am happy with the course so far...but a very unusual thing happened today. I am in the middle of the USA on the banks of the Mississippi River and we are having a cold snap -6 degrees below zero right (F) right now. I went outside to check on and feed our large animals(horses,alpaca's)..I feed extra rations and check on the stalls etc to make sure everything is alright when it gets this cold. Well I had been doing the 10 minute a day quiet time with our labs...they are pretty laid back and they lay down ,fall asleep, yawn pretty quickly. They always are with me. Well I just stood there in the barn and tried to become present , tried to clear my mind as the instructor says to do. The horses have been with us a while and are pretty mellow ,they started yawning and quit eating and approached me. The labs laid down in the gangway of the barn by my feet and the horses just sort of all stood there. About that time ,I started thinking ,boy this is pretty wierd, the horse closest to me ,scout turned around and looked out of the barn, then he looked back at me twice. I thought that I had ruined it all by starting to think .....thats when I saw it. Now mind you it is snowing heavily right now and its blizzard conditions. at first I thought that it was one of the Alpaca's named" co-co" but on second glance ,it was a deer. Then I saw another ,and another and another .... (this time of year ,in our area deer do something called "yarding up" .... they form a large herd of loosely related relatives, this provides saftey during the winter). ALL the deer walked up to the barn area and all of them started laying down.I had been standing there about a half an hour ,the horses finished feeding and I walked away with the dogs to the house. At first I thought that maybe becouse of the bad weather the deer were really just bedding down for the night early. Then I thought about it,I have lived on this farm for 30 plus years and I am an avid outdoors person....I have never seen this before. Another thing, the labs are very calm but they ALWAYS bark at the deer...they didn't...I also walked right by where the deer started to lay down ... and I didn't see them?... I
have never seen them this close to the barn...and why were they walking up toward the barn, looking right at me.... ...they had to know I was there...why didn't they run? Well it might all be because of the weather and maybe they were hungry or didn't see or smell me.....I doubt it, though...This whole experience kinda weirded me out....Is it possible that the whole herd of deer decided to just lay down at 3 pm in the afternoon ,out in the open ,during the biggest snow storm of the year? Well this course now really has my attention...it is a bit mind bogeling if the technique is that simple.. Well.I am going to "be persistent and patient" and see what happens. I am only 25% of the way through the course but have already found it to be enormously rewarding. I don't even have any animals at present, but find the psychological principles and practices fascinating, and all the videos so inspiring to my spiritual interests and understandings. The general effect is one of peacefulness.

I tried this communication with my cat. I didn't get an image right away, but a little later when I was meditating, I saw an image of a very wet cat and a boat - which made me wonder if she had fallen out of a boat. However, this kitty is very interested in water. She will sit by her water dish, put her paw in the water and watch the ripples. Also, she loves the rain, even snow. When there's weather, she'll run in and out of the doggy door getting excited.

Even though I'm not quite sure how to interpret the images I have received, I believe they were very connected to her. I've never received such a specific image before. I know your technique works, and I am motivated to try this with my other animals as well; they (2 dogs, 3 cats) are all rescues.

I have just completed the video course. During this period of corona virus I spaced out the course to give myself uplifting moments. Like many of us, spending time with our animals has felt extra precious over the past 12 months. I felt so happy to be able to give back to my horse, by using the trust technique as a thank you to him for all he gives to me. Thank you James and Shelley.

Hello!
starting the year under the impression of lockdown, distancing and all the changes that had to be mace in social life, a friend said: we must open our view for something that doesn't have these limits. There should be something for us to broaden, to deepen our understanding and personal life quality despite all these restraints we are feeling from covid. So I decided to keep my eyes open for a hint.... and came upon Trust Technique videos, don't ask me how. And it spoke to my heart immediately. But then - I don't have any animal just now. What for, then? So I purchased the first little course, I thought: well, it's like reading a book. Then decided to go on.
It has been the experience of a refuge into a peaceful place, can't say it otherwise. Working on my own issues during the course gave me insight and the tools do deal with some well-known packages I was carrying. I am deeply grateful do be able to watch the course videos, to work through the exercises, and to enhance my own peace of mind and what I bring into the world by this. Smiling still at the fact that there is no animal friend yet. ( I had thought of a cat again for the moment of my retirement next year.... )
But, there may be something coming my way, you never know, do you.
Thanks a lot to you, James and Shelley, for your work and the beautiful way you are presenting it to us. For the others in your team, too, who keep things working.
Take care, all of you. We will live through this period and then enjoy what we took for granted even more.

The Trust Technique has definitely been the best thing I have ever done for my horse Edward Bear. The best money I have ever spent.
Edward Bear is my 17'2 Hanoverian gelding. He was very aggressive in his stall. He would kick, buck, bare his teeth and bite. Obviously everyone considered him very dangerous. He had bit me on several occasions. I was at my wits end.
I purchased the Trust Technique and started working with him on Jan 27th. The transformation with Edward Bear has been unbelievable. I worked with him very slowly and followed that exact advice of Shelly and James. Another outstanding part of this course was when I reached out for some help , Shelly emailed me back within 24 hours. Very impressive in this day and age. Shelly was extremely knowledgeable and gave me very specific details on how to work with him.
Edward Bear has literally been transformed. Even the staff at the stable have said in awe, "What have you done to him?" I am now able to tack him up in his stall with no aggressive reactions. Edward Bear is a show jumper and was very reluctant to work. Now he seems very eager to please me. He even comes to the door ready to put his halter on. I did not think this would ever be possible.
Shelly and James, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing your Trust Technique to the world.
Sincerely Carolyn Klause and Edward Bear:)

This is the most brilliant thing I have ever come across. It has helped me with my animals, myself, and my life. It has allowed me to first be a volunteer at an animal shelter and work with cats in the adoption room, then in a health isolation area get well, and then in walking dogs and to get into a kennel with an unknown dog for me who used to be afraid of them is amazing. After that I have moved into the veterinary field and while I can't say I'm a practitioner I can say I am the fractious animal holder at my office because I can keep my energy down, be present, and regard the animal. This is all invaluable work and the more people who learn about it the better the world will be!

I have just finished the online course, and all I can say is WOW. I have grown up around animals my entire life and have had this unique connection with them. However while growing up I had seen how wrong they have been treated, like they are below us, not as important as us, or just considered to be stupid and emotionless. Where as I had always felt that was untrue and a horrible way to treat animals. For years I had wanted to become a Vet, to help animals, but that route didn't feel like it resonated and wouldn't make the impact that I wanted to achieve. I needed more. A connection, a healthy and nurturing way to help animals. To also find a way to teach others how to treat animals in a kind and loving way, that there is more to them than what most humans have been taught.

Then I found The Trust Technique on a whim, a random Ad on Facebook showing their video grabbed my attention. I watched the video of James riding one of the horses without any tack, and leading a herd of horses without any form of control. It was one of those moments where I knew that this was the answer I was looking for. Since then I have gone through all the content, and it is beautiful to say the least. There is so much to learn not only about animals on a spiritual, physical, and emotional level, but also about the self. Learning to tune into my own emotions, regard them and how to heal them. I have received a great lesson in healing myself and I have grown so much just in watching this. I have been deeply inspired to pursue this technique as a career to help animals and their relationships with humans. To bring peace of mind to all I interact with.

If you love animals and want to create a bond created with trust and unconditional love, then this course is for you. Even if you don't want to pursue it as a career, it is an amazing perspective to have that will benefit you and anyone in your life, human or animal.

Thank you for all that you do, bringing unconditional love to light so that we can all heal and grow together.

It was watching Anna Breytenbach communicating with a black leopard that alerted me to what is possible in this territory. Since small, I have had good relationships with animals and talked to them freely (and sometimes silently), but being able to decipher the specifics of what they communicated back has never been as highly developed in me as I saw it in Anna. The person who recommended Anna to me, also recommended your work, and I'm so grateful to have found this course.
I really appreciate (and am enjoying) the user-friendliness and flexibility of the facilities (such as the notetaking function).
I think this course should be part of the required curriculum in every school in the country!
I love the blend of information, video footage with animals and practical exercises.
I fill with tears, and then I grin, every time I watch one your videos. Feeling the tangible relief in each horse at it flops down beside its quietly loving human listener.
I do not live with an animal at present. If I did, it would be a cat, but 'pets' are not allowed where I live. (The attached photo is of a late great feline friend, Rupert).
So learning is for me for now and to share with my next new animal companion in the future.

Animals have been the focus in my life as long as I can remember. I have always felt a bond with all creatures and now I know why. This explains a lot of encounters both good and bad that I have had in my past with my animal friends. I look forward to learning so much more, and what I find is so amazing is that most of it is about me learning, not the animal as I have always thought!

I am only a short way through the course. However, I have gone from thinking, "what have I done, all those units with sub-units, have I committed to climbing Mt Everest, how can I cope with all this?" to thinking that Trust Technique should be mandatory training for all aspiring vets as well as those who have been practicing for years, along with their staffs! Owners should all be grilled on how to do it too! What I have seen so far is absolutely amazing.

I have long 'whispered' to my cats over the years and especially when I was away from home, at work, or on holiday but I didnt feel that I could really 'hear' their response and was a bit skeptical that they might actually have understood my message. I am just coming to that bit in the course; how I wish I had known about all of this years ago!

I am happily working my way through and feel confident that I will finish it, something I've not been too good at with other commitments lately! I have also found that it is good for me personally as my 'stuff' is being sorted as well as my learning how to sort pet problems.

I havent yet fallen asleep at James' feet but do feel pretty sleepy sometimes, but then I am looking at the videos at home not in person!

Thank you for all the work you have done, and the way the course is structured makes it easy to do.
